The Comet Company was an American automobile manufacturer that was only based in Los Angeles (California) in 1947 .

The Comet was based on a contemporary Ford V8 or in-line six-cylinder model and was designed by Frank Kurtis . The elegant, two-seater roadster had a body made of aluminum and steel and cost US $ 3,450.
