VLF Automotive is an American automobile manufacturer founded in Rochester , Michigan on November 18, 2015 . The company followed VL Automotive LLC, founded on January 22, 2013 by Gilbert Villareal and Bob Lutz , and was renamed after the entry of the automotive designer Henrik Fisker . The name is made up of the surnames of the three owners.

The vehicles are produced in Auburn Hills , Michigan.

VLF Destino

The company presented its first vehicle in January 2013 at the NAIAS in Detroit, the VL Destino sedan based on the Fisker Karma . This was launched in 2016 as the VLF Destino V8 .

VLF Force 1

In January 2016, VLF Automotive presented the Force 1 based on the Dodge Viper, a super sports car that has been built since April 2016.

VLF Rocket

At the NAIAS in January 2017, the company announced that it would build the Rocket V8, a sports car based on the Ford Mustang, together with the tuner Galpin Auto Sports. The Rocket V8 is powered by a 533 kW (725 PS) five-liter V8 gasoline engine.
