Saber Automotive was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was based in Waukesha , Wisconsin . In 1977 or around 1977 the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was Saber . Production ended in 1985.
vehicles
The only model was the GT . It was based on the Opel GT , from which the four-cylinder engine , power transmission, wheel suspensions, brakes, windshield and other parts came. A tubular steel frame provided stability. The body was made of fiberglass .
