Liberty Classics Inc. was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was incorporated on April 27, 1981 in Minneapolis , Minnesota . In 1985 the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was Liberty Classics . Production ended in 1985 or 1988. On September 25, 1998 the company was dissolved.

vehicles

The only model was the Esquire . It was somewhat similar to the Mercedes-Benz models of the 1930s. The open body was made of plastic . One version had a chassis from the VW Beetle and its air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine . Another variant had many parts, including the engine, from the Ford Pinto or the Ford Mustang II .
