Gibbon is an American automobile brand.

Brand history

Dwight Bond founded Gibbon Fiberglass Reproductions Inc. in Gibbon , Nebraska , in 1971 . He started producing automobiles and kit cars . The brand name is Gibbon . From March 4, 1997 to January 30, 2008, there was a branch of the same name in Darlington , North Carolina . Since January 2nd 1997 there is Second Chance Classics Inc. , again from Gibbon. There is also evidence of the use of the 2nd Chance Classics brand name during the 1980s and 1980s through the 1990s, respectively. Kyle Bond now heads the company.

vehicles

Various replicas of classic vehicles were and are on offer , preferably from Ford . Many of them are designed as hot rods . Called Ford Model T , Ford Model A and Ford Model Y of English production. Often a V8 engine drives the vehicles.

Another project was the replica of a Packard from 1933–1934. A special ladder frame formed the basis. The wheel suspensions were from Chrysler . The model was only available as a complete vehicle. The manufacturer calls the bodies Town Car Sedan, Coupe-Roadster and Victorian Convertible.
