Lindberg Engineering was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on December 10, 1979 in Tollhouse , California to manufacture automobiles and kit cars . The brand name was Lindberg . In 1980, in the 1980s, around 1986 or 1990 production ended.

vehicles

Vehicles were on offer in pre-war designs, especially from the 1930s. Many models were based on a chassis from the VW Beetle . This included partially scaled-down replicas of a 1936 Roadster from Auburn , the Mercedes-Benz 500 K and the Ford Model T from 1911 as a panel van .

The replica of a Bugatti Royale as a Coupé de Ville had a ladder frame and a V8 engine that came either from Cadillac or Chevrolet . This model was only available as a complete car, costing 1983 80.000 US dollars .

Another replica of the Mercedes-Benz 500 K also had a ladder frame, but a diesel engine .
