Armstrong Motorworks (also spelled Armstrong Motor Works ) was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded around 1989 in Rancho Cucamonga , California . An advertisement from September 10, 1989 has survived. In 1990 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Armstrong . Production ended around 1991. A total of at least ten vehicles were built.

A source says the company later traded as Ryane Motorsports .

Only one model was on offer, which was named Titan or Countach , depending on the source . It was a replica of a Lamborghini Countach . A grid frame made of steel formed the basis. A closed plastic body was mounted on top. A Chevrolet V8 powered the vehicles. It had a displacement of 5000 cc . An increase in engine power was possible by means of charging for an additional charge. A source cites a new price of $ 70,000 .
