Eagle Coach Work Inc. was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on April 28, 1980. First Lancaster , later Buffalo and finally East Amherst is handed down as the seat . All three cities are in the state of New York . The last owner was Thomas P. Hill. The company manufactured automobiles and kit cars . The brand name was Eagle , possibly with the addition of Coach Works , although the company name Coach Work did not contain the suffix S. In 2001 the company was dissolved.

Replicas of classic automobiles were on offer . First of all, models from Alfa Romeo , Bugatti and Frazer Nash are mentioned . They were based on a chassis from the VW Beetle .

Replicas of the Jaguar SS100 and Jaguar XK 120 followed later . The chassis of the former had a wheelbase of 274 cm . The other model has a wheelbase of 259 cm and a vehicle length of 447 cm. The body was made of fiberglass . Various four-cylinder engines from Ford as well as V6 and V8 engines were available.
