GLMC Corp. , previously Great Lakes Motor Cars Corp. , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on January 23, 1984 in Rochester , New York . First, it turned parts for the restoration of the Ford Model A forth. In 1984 or 1985 the production of automobiles and kit cars began with the acquisition of a project from Victor Antique Auto . The brand name was Great Lakes . Production ended in 1989. On December 23, 1991 the company was dissolved.

Noble Motor Works continued production of a model.

The first model TF-1800 was the replica of the MG TF of MG . Motor and drive came from the MG B . The body was made of plastic .

In 1986 the TF-V8 added to the range. In contrast to the first model, it had either a V6 or V8 engine from Chevrolet .

The last model was the Phantom . It was a mixture of a replica of the MG PA Airline Coupé and a hot rod . A Chevrolet V8 engine provided the drive.
