Williams Engine
The Williams Engine Company was an American automobile manufacturer.
Company history
The brothers Calvin and Charles Williams ran the company based in Ambler, Pennsylvania . Between 1957 and 1968 they made steam cars. Then the company was dissolved. Between 1972 and 1991 further developments arose in a new company to which another brother now also belonged.
vehicles
Williams converted gasoline-powered cars, primarily from Chevrolet , to steam engines. In 1957 a two-seater convertible was presented. In 1963 a car with a Victress - GRP body followed for US $ 7000, -, and in 1966 a steam car based on the Chevrolet Chevelle for US $ 10,250.
