Company history
Thomas W. McBurnie founded the company on April 7, 1986 in Santee , California . He made automobiles. The brand name was McBurnie , possibly with the addition of Coachcraft . In 1989 production ended after a legal dispute with Ferrari . The company was subsequently dissolved, but the date of dissolution is not specified.
vehicles
The most famous model was a replica of a Ferrari "Daytona" . The chassis of the Chevrolet Corvette C3 formed the basis. A visual differentiator to the original is the lack of opening windows on the doors. This replica was seen in the television series Miami Vice .
The replica of the Ferrari 250 GTO of 1986 was based on the 280 Z Datsun . While the original was only available as a coupé , the replica was also available as a convertible .
