Company history

The company was founded in 1974 in Sebring , Florida . The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Sebring-Vanguard . Production ended in 1978.

In 1974, 608 vehicles were built. 1975 represented the highest value with 1193 units. 424 vehicles have been handed down for 1976. Figures for 1977 and 1978 are not known.

Commuter Vehicles continued production under its own name.

The Citicar electric car was on offer . An electric motor drove the vehicles. The variant as a commercial vehicle was called Citivan .

The Sebring Vanguard GmbH from Frankfurt imported vehicles to Germany.
