Vintage Motor Works was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was based in Sonoma , California . Automobile production began in 1985 with the acquisition of a model from the Hathaway Motor Company . The brand name was Vintage , possibly with the addition of Motor Works . Production ended in 1988.
HS Engineering continued production under its own name.
vehicles
The only Hunter model was a 1930s-style sports car . Some optical details were similar to the BMW 328 or the Morgan 4/4 . A chassis that came either from the Triumph TR4 or the Triumph TR6 formed the basis. A six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2500 cm³ propelled the vehicles.
