Saviano Vehicles was an American automobile manufacturer based in Warren , Michigan . The company was founded by AP Saviano. It only produced one model that was only built in 1960.

Saviano SCAT

The only vehicle that produced the Saviano was the SCAT ( acronym for S aviano C argo A nd T ouring). It was a small, very simple off-road vehicle with rear-wheel drive. The vehicle rested on a frame made of welded rectangular tubes. Its three-door body, including the fenders, was made of flat, pressed sheet steel. An air-cooled in-line two-cylinder engine from Kohler , which developed 25 bhp (18.4 kW), served as the drive . A manual three-speed gearbox from BorgWarner was flanged on . The vehicle had a wheelbase of 2032 mm and an overall length of 3175 mm. A removable roof was available upon request. The doors were also removable. The basic configuration of the 770 kg car cost US $ 1,390.
