JPR Cars Ltd. , previously JPR Cars inc. , is an American company and a former manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Allen D. Smith founded JPR Cars Inc. on October 10, 1997 in Gloucester , Virginia . Another source cites topping in Virginia. Ann R. Smith is also with the company. It was later renamed JPR Cars Ltd. In 1998, with the takeover of Gatsby Coachworks, the production of automobiles began. The brand name was JPR . Production ended around 2003. There are no indications that vehicles are currently being manufactured.

It is unclear whether there was a connection to JPR Cars from England .

The company called one model Cabriolet .

The Griffin models , which corresponded to the Griffin from Gatsby, Wildcat , which like the English Wildcat from JPR Cars was a replica of the Jaguar E-Type , and the Woody Pick-Up as a panel van and pick-up with a wooden body were at least in the planning stage.
