Alpha Design & Engineering was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Ferrari 1983 -expert Joe Alphabet founded the company in Huntington Beach in California . With the takeover of a project from Eagle Manufacturing , the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was Alpha , possibly with the addition GTO or 1 . However, an advertisement for an Alpha GTO model , i.e. without 1 . Production ended in 1985. Another source states that production was said to have run until 1990.
vehicles
The only GTO model was a replica of a Ferrari 250 GTO . The coupe was based on the 240 Z Datsun . Various engines from Datsun and Chevrolet powered the vehicles.
