Yank (make of car)

Yank ( English for ' jerk ') was an American automobile brand that was only built in 1950 by the Custom Auto Works in San Diego, California .

The only model Yank was a two-door roadster with two seats. Its wheelbase was 2540 mm. The vehicle was powered by a four-cylinder in-line engine from Willys with a displacement of 2199 cm³. At 4000 min ^-1 of the rendered page-controlled motor 63  bhp (46 kW).

The 680 kg vehicle was supposed to be a sports car for the less well-off Americans and cost only $ 1,000. Success was denied to the Yank.
