Company history
The company was initially based in Sausalito , California . In 1965 the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was Mantis . 1972 took place after moving to Port Orford in Oregon . Production ended in 1979.

Sporty vehicles were on offer. A chassis from the VW Beetle with a rear engine formed the basis. However, there are also references to mid-engine vehicles . The body was made of fiberglass . The coupe was noticeably flat. There was also a roadster .
