Rowan controller
The Rowan Controller Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Westminster, Maryland from 1967 to 1969 .
The Rowan was a two-door coupe with two seats. Its body was designed by Ghia in Italy . Some mechanical components came from De Tomaso , but not the drive. The created two electric motors in the rear of the vehicle. The car was also equipped with brakes that enabled the kinetic energy to be returned to the batteries. The range was 320 km, an impressive figure for an electric vehicle from the late 1960s.
