Edwards Engineering
The Edwards Engineering Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in San Francisco, California between 1949 and 1955 . Founder was Sterling H. Edwards .

As early as 1950 Edwards had won first prize at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with a one-off called the R-26 Special Sport Roadster .
In 1954 a prototype of the five-seater convertible was first built. The heavy and luxurious car was equipped with an Oldsmobile V8 engine . The wheelbase was 2718 mm and the GRP body was 4547 mm long. The series model was then built with an overhead V8 engine from Lincoln . The 5195 cc large aggregate afforded 205 bhp (151 kW) at 4200 min -1 . The price of the 2.8 to. heavy Edwards was US $ 4995, -. Only two copies were sold.
In 1955 a revised model came out that powered a Cadillac V8 engine . From 5426 cc it attracted 250 bhp (184 kW) at 4,600 min -1 . The price had risen to US $ 7,800 and three cars were sold in this final year of production.
A total of six vehicles were sold.
