Fiberfab Inc.
Fiberfab Inc. was an American manufacturer of kit cars in Santa Clara (California) . The company was founded in 1964 by Warren Goodwin and initially dealt with the construction of tuning parts for street rods and body parts for the Ford Mustang . In 1965, the construction of kit cars began, which was continued until 1978. In 1983 the company was taken over by Classic Motor Carriages .
The Jamaican was available on the basis of the TR3 , the TR4 , the MGA , the Austin Healey 100 or the VW Beetle . Fiberfab later built its own chassis for the Jamaican and used a V8 engine.
Fiberfab also made a replica of the Ford GT40 based on the VW Beetle floor pan called the Avenger GT . The Fiberfab Valkyrie was a similar car designed to accommodate a V8 engine.
The Bonito was built under license in Germany by Fiberfab Body and Sweden .
Fiberfab also built tuned vehicles that were used in the THX 1138 film .
