Seltzer Motor Industries was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on April 30, 1979 in Chatsworth , California . The production of automobiles and kit cars began. The brand name was Seltzer . Production ended in 1983.

The Toppo Manufacturing Company with the same address continued production under its own name until 1985.

The only model was the Willow . A tubular frame formed the basis of the two-seater sports car . The coupe had a targa roof . A four-cylinder engine from the Ford Pinto with a capacity of 2000 cm³ was mounted transversely to the direction of travel behind the seats in a mid-engine design and drove the rear wheels. The curb weight was given as 809 kg.
