Colt Manufacturing Company
The Colt Manufacturing Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Milwaukee , Wisconsin only in 1958 . One of the three sources suggests it could also be Colt Motors Corp. from Boston , Massachusetts .
The Colt was a microcar , a coupe with two seats. The car was powered by a rear-mounted, single-cylinder four-stroke engine from Wisconsin with a capacity of 377 cc. The vehicle had a 1956 mm wheelbase, was 3,048 mm long and weighed 317 kg. In the back it showed the beginnings of tail fins .
The retail price was $ 995.
