The manufacturer was Banner Welder Inc. from Milwaukee in Wisconsin . The only year of production was 1958.

The Banner Boy Buckboard essentially corresponded to the Smith Flyer from around the First World War , but instead of the drive wheel it had a single-cylinder engine from Briggs & Stratton built into the rear , which developed 2.75 bhp (2 kW) and was started with a cable pull. In addition to the engine, only the steering wheel and two bucket seats were attached to the platform. As with the original, the wheelbase was 1575 mm.
