Detroit Accessories

The Detroit Accessories Company was an American automobile manufacturer that was only based in St. Clair Shores (Michigan) in 1953 . The company was founded by Raymond Russell .

A large, two-door convertible with two seats was built under the name Detroiter . The Detroit rests on a Ford or Cadillac chassis with a 2921 mm wheelbase. A body made of GRP was put over it . There was no rear bumper. For this, the spare wheel was mounted on the rear of the vehicle without a cover. A side-controlled V8 engine from Ford with 3923 cm³ displacement, developing 110 bhp (81 kW) power at 3800 min −1 , served as drive .
