Elcar Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded on May 17, 1974 in Elkhart , Indiana . It sold Zagato vehicles . It manufactured automobiles from 1975 to 1977 or from 1977 to 1978. The brand name was Elcar . On November 28, 1988 the company was dissolved.

Electric cars were on offer . One model was the imported Zagato Zele .
The wagonette was similar to the Zele , but was longer and offered space for four people. One source states that this model remained a prototype .
The Cinderella looked similar to a 1903 Duryea . The electric motor developed 2 hp and allowed a top speed of 32 km / h.
