North American fiberglass
NAF , short for North American Fiberglass , is an American automobile brand.
Brand history
The first company by that name was based in Tempe , Arizona . Jack Kube ran it. In 1979 or around 1983 the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was NAF . Production ended in 1993 or 2006.
On October 31, 2014, a company of the same name was founded in Wyoming , Michigan . According to the company, the headquarters are in Grand Rapids . It continues production.
vehicles
The 289 , 289 FIA and 427 SC were replicas of the AC Cobra . From 1984 the model was also available as a coupé .
The Dolphin resembled a fourth generation Lotus Seven .
The Shrike GT was a visually independent coupe. Various four- and six -cylinder engines as well as the V8 engine from the Oldsmobile Toronado were mounted behind the seats in a mid-engine design. One source calls wing doors .
In 1992 the replica of a Ford GT 40 added to the range. It was based on a Pontiac Fiero .
According to the manufacturer, the range includes Cobra, Cobra Daytona Coupé and GT 40.
