Duesenberg II was a US car brand.

Brand history

Duesenberg Motors Inc. of Elroy , Wisconsin, began producing automobiles in 1979. The brand name was Duesenberg II , alluding to the pre-war brand Duesenberg . Elite Heritage Motors Corp., founded on March 31, 1977 . from the same city continued production. This company should not be confused with Elite Enterprises , which manufactured Elite brand vehicles. The last manufacturer was Falls Motors Ltd. from Genoa , Illinois . Production ended in 1999. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

There were five replicas of classic vehicles from Duesenberg on offer . The models named are Model J Speedster , Murphy Roadster , Royalton Phaeton , Torpedo Phaeton and Torpedo Roadster . The chassis came from Ford and the V8s from either Ford or Lincoln . One source names 5700 cm³ displacement , a second 5800 cm³ displacement and a third 7538 cm³ displacement (460 cubic inches ). The bodies were made of fiberglass . The vehicles were luxuriously equipped with automatic transmissions , disc brakes , air conditioning and power steering . The vehicles were 569 cm long with a wheelbase of 390 cm .

Prices rose from $ 125,000 in 1984 to $ 195,000 in 1999.
