Marauder & Co. was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Potomac , Illinois . It made automobiles and kit cars . The brand name was Marauder . There are different data on the production period: from 1980 to unknown, from 1975 to 1993, from the 1970s to the 1990s or from 1980 to 2007.

vehicles

Sports cars were on offer . Most of them were replicas of well-known models. First of all, the Lola T 70 , McLaren M 6 B , Ferrari 512 M and Chevron B 16 are mentioned , the first three of which were designed as mid -engine vehicles with V8 engines . The latter had a simpler structure and was given either Mazda , Porsche , Volkswagen or V8 engines.

In 1982, replicas of the De Tomaso Pantera and Lamborghini Countach followed, and later the BR-X, a replica of the Ferrari Testarossa .

The replica of a Ferrari 250 GTO had a front engine from Chevrolet or Ford . The body was made of either aluminum or fiberglass .

In addition, the Di Napoli was distributed by Pacific Coachworks .
