Custom Cloud Motors was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Jon Tedesco founded the company on October 14, 1975 in Miami , Florida . Leonard Borger was his partner. They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was initially Custom Cloud . Diana Marks from England bought the first car. After losing a lawsuit with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars , the brand name changed to Classic Coach . Borger then got out. The company names Standard Motors Inc. from Miami and Classic Coach Motors have also been handed down for the subsequent period .

On March 24, 1978, United Auto Sales Inc. of Grand Island , Nebraska announced that it had taken over the company and continued to operate it as Classic Coach Motors, a Division of United Auto Sales Inc.

Production ended in 1979.

vehicles

The only model was based on the Chevrolet Monte Carlo from 1973-1976. The large radiator grille and hood ornament , which resembled Rolls-Royce vehicles, were striking. After the litigation, these elements were changed. The two-door coupé initially has no rear side windows. Parts of the body were made of fiberglass .

A vehicle stands in the Isle of Man Motor Museum in Jurby on the Isle of Man .
