Machiavelli was an American car brand.

Brand history

A source says Henderson Motors Corporation of Key Biscayne , Florida , headed by Robert Henderson, was the manufacturer. The Key Biscayne-based company was founded on November 30, 1981 and is headed by Mario Escobar. It sold vehicles from BMW , Mercedes-Benz and Porsche .

Other sources mention Machiavelli Motors from Key Biscayne. There was a Machiavelli Motors of America Inc. from March 22, 1985 and a Machiavelli Motors of Miami Inc. from October 30, 1985 , both under the direction of R. Sanchez with headquarters in Miami , Florida.

In 1985 the production of automobiles and later also of kit cars began . The brand name was Machiavelli . Production ended in 1988 or 1989.

The model 305 GTS 2 + 2 , also called Max , was a replica of the Ferrari 328 GTS . The T-Max Testarudo was similar to the Ferrari Testarossa . Both were based on Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro . A V8 engine with either 5000 cm³ or 5700 cm³ displacement propelled the vehicles. The body was made of plastic .

Philip Michael Thomas drove such a vehicle in the television series Miami Vice .
