Charles Town-About

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charlestown About was an American automobile brand, which in 1958 and 1959 by the Stinson Aircraft Tool & Engineering Corporation in San Diego in California was built.

Charles H. Graves, vice president of the company, had an elegant, four-seater coupé with two doors built, the GRP body of which looked similar to a VW Karmann Ghia and had the rear lights of a DeSoto from 1957. Two electric motors on the rear wheels were used to drive the car, each developing 2.35 kW. The range of the 1359 kg and US $ 2895 expensive vehicle was 120–130 km.

A pickup called Van-About was planned, but was never made.
