Publix Motor Car

The Publix Motor Car Company was an American automobile manufacturer in 1947 and 1948 in Buffalo (New York) was established.

The Publix was a three-wheeled, open roadster with two seats, no roof and no doors. The snout was pointed. The single front wheel could be steered with a steering wheel that could be swiveled to the left or right seat. The Publix was powered by single-cylinder engines from various manufacturers with an output between 1.7 bhp (1.25 kW) and 10.4 bhp (7.65 kW). The engine was installed at the rear and drove the rear axle.

The wheelbase of the vehicle was 1270 mm, the total length 1829 mm. Depending on the engine, it weighed 68–91 kg and cost US $ 300. To save space, the entire car had to be tipped over onto its rear surface so that it stood on edge.
