Company history
Daniel Panoz founded the company in Georgia on January 25, 1989 . Hoschton and Braselton are named as places . He started with the production of sports and racing cars . The brand name is Panoz .
Road vehicles
The first model Panoz Roadster was created in 1989 from a project taken over from Thompson Manufacturing Co. from Ireland . Initially a V8 engine from Ford with a displacement of 5000 cc powered the roadster . Later Panoz used a smaller V8 engine with 4600 cc and 32 valves. In 1995, Rinspeed developed its Roadster R or SC-R from this model . The initial design with spaceframe frame and aluminum structure gave way to an aluminum frame for the Roadster AIV .
The following Panoz Esperante is described as more conventional. The two-seater roadster has the same engine.
