The Auto Craft Company was an American automobile manufacturer.

The Fond du Lac (Wisconsin) company made automobiles between 1968 and 1969 . The brand name was Savage .

The Savage GT was a Plymouth Barracuda that was offered with more powerful Chrysler engines. It also had a different grille, wire-spoke wheels, chrome-plated exhaust ends and a fiberglass trunk lid with a small spoiler.

The vehicle was a two-door hardtop - coupe or just such Cabriolet available. The wheelbase was 2743 mm, the total length 4897 mm.

There was a choice of three overhead V8 engines, denoted in cu.in according to the respective cubic capacity. The 340 had a displacement of 340 cubic inches (equivalent to about 5.6 liters) and provided 280 bhp (206 kW) at 5000 min -1 . The 383 had 6.3-liter displacement and put it in a 335 hp (246 kW) at 5000 min -1 . For 440 , the corresponding values denominated 7.2 liters and 380 hp (279 kW) at 4600 min -1 . The engine power was passed on to the rear wheels via a manual four-speed gearbox. A three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission was also available on request .
