Electra was an American automobile brand that was built by Die Mesh Corporation in Pelham, New York , only in 1974 .

The Electra was based on the 1972 Fiat 850 Spider . The four-cylinder gasoline engine in the rear was removed and replaced by three electric motors. In total, they delivered an output of 9.6 kW. The batteries allowed a range of 55 to 65 km. The Fiat's chassis had a wheelbase of 1976 mm and the two-seater body was 3951 mm long.
