First round draft picks

With Art Lewis, the Giants chose their first player in the first draft in 1936.
Frank Gifford played on both offense and defense during his career.
Lawrence Taylor was one of the few defense players to win the 1986 NFL Most Valuable Player Award (MVP).
Philip Rivers was traded to the Chargers with some draft picks for Eli Manning.
Odell Beckham Jr. was elected to the Pro Bowl for his first three years .
