Tirbi is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Pihtla ) in the Saare district . Until the reestablishment of the rural community Saaremaa, the place was called "Laheküla" and was renamed to differentiate itself from Laheküla , as both are now in the same rural community.

Population and location

The village has fifteen inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

It is located on the west coast of the Vätta peninsula ( Vätta poolsaar ), at the transition to the peninsula-shaped headland of Kastilaid.
