Kargi (German Karky ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Torgu ) in the Saare district .

Population and history

The place in the west of the Sõrve peninsula has seventeen inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

The von Kargi manor was owned by the noble Baltic German family von Toll from 1648 to 1772 .
