Nenu (German Nenno ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Pöide ) in the Saare district .

Population and location

The village has fourteen inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is 48 kilometers northeast of the island's capital Kuressaare .

The place is located on the Baltic Sea bay of the same name (Nenu laht) , directly on the strait between the islands of Saaremaa and Muhu .
