Jauni (German Janni ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Mustjala ) in the Saare district .

The village has ten inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 26 kilometers northwest of the island's capital Kuressaare .

Near the village is the lake of the same name, the 9.1 hectare Jauni järv .
