Kungla (Saaremaa)

Kungla is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Valjala ) in the Saare district . Kungla is not to be confused with Kaarma-Kungla , which is also located on the island of Saaremaa and was called Kungla until 2017.
Population and location
The village has 39 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located directly on the Baltic Sea, about 30 kilometers from the island's capital, Kuressaare .

The place houses a small harbor on the Bay of Kõiguste ( Kõiguste laht ). It was completed in September 2011.
