Imavere is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the Saaremaa rural community (until 2017: Orissaare rural community ) in the Saare district .

Population and location

The village has eight residents (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 36 kilometers northeast of the island's capital Kuressaare .

history

The village was first mentioned in 1564 under the name Immafer .
