Taaliku (German Thalik ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the Saaremaa rural community (until 2017: Orissaare rural community ) in the Saare district .

Population and location

The village has twenty inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located near the Baltic Sea coast.

port

A small port was built northeast of the village center in 1880 ( Taaliku sadam ). It was destroyed during the Second World War, but was later rebuilt. The current pier dates from 2014. Today the port is mainly used by local fishermen. There is a bathing beach next to the harbor. It is in the area of ​​the village of Pulli .
