Kõnnu (German Könnu ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Valjala ) in the Saare district . Kõnnu is not to be confused with Püha-Kõnnu , which is also on the island of Saaremaa and was called Kõnnu until 2017.

Population and location

The village has 41 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 27 kilometers northeast of the island's capital Kuressaare .
