Veere is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Pöide ) in the Saare district . Veere is not to be confused with Veeremäe , which is also on the island of Saaremaa and was called Veere until 2017.

The village has 24 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).
