Kaavi (German Kavi ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Torgu ) in the Saare district .

The place on the east coast of the Sõrve peninsula has eighteen inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It was first mentioned in a document in 1645.

The village's port has existed since 1945. In 1954 the lighthouse was built from concrete. He is 15 meters high.
