Järveküla (German Järweküll ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island Saaremaa . It belongs to the Saaremaa rural community (until 2017: Orissaare rural community ) in the Saare district .

Population and location

The village has seven inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

It is located southeast of the lake of the same name ( Järveküla järved ). Ihke Island in the lake used to be a refuge in times of war.
