Valjala-Kogula (German Koggul ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the rural community Saaremaa (until 2017: rural community Valjala ) in the Saare district . Until the reestablishment of the rural community Saaremaa, the place was called "Kogula" and was renamed to differentiate itself from Kogula , since both are now in the same rural community.

The village has eight residents (as of December 31, 2011). It is 31 kilometers northeast of the island's capital Kuressaare .
