Kingli (German Müllershof ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It belongs to the Saaremaa rural community (until 2017: Laimjala rural community ) in the Saare district .

Population

The village has 25 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 42 kilometers northeast of the island's capital Kuressaare .

history

The village was first mentioned in 1398 under the name Rymecke . In 1458 it was loaned to a Hans Swart. After his death in 1517 it came to the Möller family. The Rehemeggi farm was established in the middle of the 16th century and gradually took on the name Müllershof . From 1605 to 1830 it was owned by the noble Baltic German family Berg .
